“Out of respect to friends, performers and fans, singer-songwriter Jorge Araguao has announced, through his press office, that he has been diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma after a series of tests,” the statement read.
According to INCA (National Cancer Institute), non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) is a type of cancer that originates in the cells of the lymph system and spreads in an unregulated manner.
“The artist will begin his treatment immediately and remain confident, under the care of hematologist Carolyn Rebelo, and rely on everyone’s support, prayers and positive energy to stay calm.”
The singer must maintain his professional commitments as soon as possible. According to the artist’s press office, he is at home and does not need hospitalization.
