Actor, voice actor, radio host and comedian Jose Santa Cruz died today (26 years old) at the age of 95, in Rio de Janeiro, Globo newspaper reported. The actor, who suffered from Parkinson's disease and was hospitalized with bronchopneumonia, leaves behind his wife, Iván María Méndez Bastos, to whom he was married for 72 years and to whom they had three children, Elen María, Elian María and Eduardo Luiz, all deceased.

Jose also leaves behind five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Santinha, as he was known by his friends and professional colleagues, will be buried this Saturday (27), in the Benitencia Cemetery, in Botafogo.
