KSI returns to the boxing ring on Saturday night when he takes on late substitute FaZe Temperrr in their cruiserweight bout at London’s Wembley Arena.
He was scheduled to fight British YouTuber Dillon Danis, but the former MMA star pulled out of the bout on January 4, citing a lack of preparation, lack of trainer and contractual weight issues. FaZe Temperrr – a Brazilian YouTuber (real name Thomas Oliveira) – has pulled out from the undercard to replace Danis and the fight will remain for the MF Middleweight title.
KSI praised his opponent for accepting the challenge, saying, “We’ve had Sidemen and FaZe Clan against each other many times already, and it looks like we have another challenge on our hands. Credit to his temper for stepping up like a true fighter.”
In August, KSI defeated Luis Alcaraz Pineda and Swarms in one night at the O2 Arena to extend his career undefeated streak to five fights. He is favored to face off on Saturday, and a win would bring the 29-year-old closer to facing Jake Paul.
