Actress Lucy Alves became one of the most talked about topics on social media in her first scene as Lilith in the TV series Renascer. In Thursday's episode (15), she sang De Volta Pro Aconchego, by Dominguinhos (1941-2013) and Nando Cordell – the same song she chose to perform with her family at the end of the second season of The Voice Brasil, in 2013.
Lucy even appeared on Bruno Lupéry's series with the same instrument that had the four reality show technicians flipping their chairs over a decade ago – the inseparable accordion.
The artist reached the final with the team Carlinhos Brown and took the band formed by her family, Cla Brasil, to the stage. She finished second, losing only to the champion Sam Alves, who was sponsored by Claudia Leite.
Lilith's performance was enough to change the mind of Norberto (Matheus Nachtergaele), who yelled at the singer for choosing Jacutinga as her stage name. The same role of the prostitute played by Juliana Paes in the first seasons. [Cliqueaqui e veja a cena]
Viewers approved of the sequence on social media. Jack V. Gaby wrote: “Lucy Alves was appreciated more in a scene in Renascer than in the entire Travessia.”
“Lucy Alves, for God’s sake, what is this sauce?” praised a character identified only as Ni. “Lucy Alves lights up the burial of this second phase of the Renaissance. The best thing to happen in months in this plot,” concluded Fetissera Animica.
