Luso and Mata Nacional do Bussaco will host the 4th International Conference – Forests and the Potential of Health, to be held from 6-9 April, with the aim of deepening knowledge about the potential of the forest as a therapeutic resource that facilitates health. -user.
The scientific approach to nature and its link to health and wellness tourism will be a review of the nine panel discussions that will bring together about 40 experts from Korea, Austria, Portugal, Spain, Italy, the United Kingdom, Lithuania and Germany, who will take the opportunity to share experiences and practices from their countries and reveal some of the data they have documented on the impact of forests on human health.
Emphasis will be placed on the direction of growth recorded by practices such as “Banhos de Bosque” or “forest treatment”, and there will also be room to look at the socio-economic perspective, focusing on the role of the forest in creating so-called “green employment” and the way in which the situation Own the Centro District to position itself in this area of development.
The proceedings of the conference will take place at the Grand Hotel de Lusso and will also include hands-on workshops that will take place in the immersion of nature in the center of Mata do Bussaco, to explore its pioneering potential for the development of these healing practices.
