Manchester City’s Premier League clash with Leeds United will go up against a national blackout at 3pm when broadcast in England.
The clash was originally scheduled for Sunday, May 7, but has now been moved up a day due to City’s involvement in the Champions League semi-final next Tuesday.
Sky Sports held the rights to broadcast City v Leeds on Sunday, although the match will still be televised despite the move to Saturday at 3pm.
“As Manchester City visit Real Madrid in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final on Tuesday 9 May, the home leg against Leeds United has been moved from Sunday 7 May to Saturday 6 May at 3pm BST,” a Premier League statement said. . The report was read.

“The match will be live on Sky Sports in the UK, subject to further consultation with relevant stakeholders in relation to Article 48.
“The usual live broadcast time from the UK of 12.30pm BST was avoided in order not to conflict with the King’s coronation, while a later start was not possible due to police resources.”
Article 48 of UEFA’s laws prohibits the televising of matches between 2.45pm and 5.15pm on Saturdays during the season, in an attempt to encourage fans to watch live at professional and youth levels.
The law has left many fans frustrated and there have been calls for the Premier League to end the blackout, but league chief executive Richard Masters recently confirmed there were no immediate changes.
“We’ve won Article 48 across the Premier League and I don’t see that changing in the short term,” Masters told the Financial Times Business of Football Summit.
