Marcos Oliveira, known as “Beiçola”, last worked for 14 years in the series “A Grande Família”, on Globo, was the TV series “Deus Salve o Rei” (2018). Since then, the actor has been facing a serious financial crisis, and recently received a new eviction order for not paying three months' rent for an apartment in Botafogo, in the South Zone of Rio.
Oliveira has 10 days to leave the property. “I'm in a panic, helpless and apathetic. I have to leave and I don't know where I'm going. It takes two years to catch a criminal, but it takes minutes to expel him,” said the actor, who owes just over R$12,000 to the landlord. “I've run out of money and I can't rent anything under my name. I don't know what it's going to be like from now on,” he told Globo. The apartment
This isn't the first time the actor has received an eviction notice. Early last year, he was warned he would have to leave due to late rent, but he was able to reverse the situation thanks to a $50,000 donation from lawyer and influencer Dolan Bezerra, who helped him pay off his debts.
The actor's attorney, Rose Scalco, contacted Marcus' landlord to negotiate a new deal, but has not received a response.
Last year, the Retiro dos Artistas organization, in western Rio, reserved a home for the actor. But the organization accepts one dog and Marcos has three: Mel, Brita and Lolita. “The only thing I have in life are my dogs and I won't leave them. We're trying to solve the problem. I think an artists' meeting could be an option,” he said.
