In an interview with the North American television channel Fox News, The Royal expert Kinsey Schofield Prince Harry is missing home, namely the United Kingdom. However, one person who is not happy with the sentiment is his wife, Meghan Markle. The couple has been living in the US since 2020.
According to the royal press, the prince's nostalgia has led him to even start looking for a home in the United Kingdom, but before any acquisitions he has a problem to resolve. “I hear Harry is happy with his new lifestyle, but at the same time he's missing home,” Kinsey said.
The expert opined that Harry “will not make any serious or financial decisions until his security issues are resolved”. The prince is fighting in a British court to be able to pay for personal protection while Meghan and their two children are in the UK. The couple have two children, 5-year-old Archie and 3-year-old Lilibet Diana.
Speaking to the American broadcaster, Kinsey Schofield highlighted: “Meghan could have allowed him to find an additional residence in the UK if that made him happy, but I doubt she has any desire to participate or visit the process.” The relationship between the Sussexes and the royal family has been strained since 2020, when the couple stepped down from their royal duties.
Former butler to King Charles III, Grand Harold Speaking to the New York Post, she emphasized Prince Harry's desire to buy a home in the United Kingdom. “It's something he wanted and was already considering. Now, he's probably made up his mind and that's what he wants,” he highlighted.
“Not having a home in the UK may be a joint decision between the couple, but over time, people's views and decisions can change,” said Harald. The former butler added, “You only have one family, which means he suddenly remembered that.”
Kinsey isn't the only one to report that Meghan didn't contribute to Harry's purchase of a UK home. According to Grand Harold, the feeling of rejection would have occupied the Duchess of Sussex, and therefore, her husband's decision did not please her. According to the former butler, the ex-Hollywood actress is not well-liked by the Brits.
“She feels rejected by the UK and it doesn't please her,” the former royal aide noted. Harold added: “I don't think she has any desire to win them back. Meghan is totally focused on winning over Hollywood's elite. The prince used to maintain a home on British soil, in this case, Frogmore Cottage, but his father issued an eviction order last year.
