Following his exit from the World Cup final, Mohammed Shami has been advised to consult a specialist in the UK and will miss the IND vs ENG Test series.
Mohammed Shami is likely to miss the entire IND vs ENG Test series. The fast bowler has been sidelined since the World Cup final due to an ankle injury. His name was not mentioned in the first two Tests between India and England. But the BCCI expected him to return for the last three Tests. However, after submitting his reports to the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru, doctors advised him to consult a specialist in London. The head of sports science at the National Sports League, Nitin Patel, will accompany him to the UK.
Therefore, Mohammed Shami is also likely to miss the last three IND vs ENG Tests. As previously reported by InsideSport, Mohammed Al-Shami reported to the NCA earlier this week for an injury assessment.

With the 2024 T20 World Cup in June, the BCCI does not want to take any risks. Therefore, he will travel to London to consult experts before taking the next action.
