According to information revealed by Sky Sports, French striker Kylian Mbappe should be an additional player to join the Saudi football star. This Monday (24), Paris Saint-Germain accepted an offer from Al-Hilal for the player. The offer, which is still based on information from the European press, will amount to 259 million pounds sterling (more than 1.5 billion Brazilian reais at the current exchange rate).
In this way, Mbappe will become the most expensive player ever in world football, surpassing the amount paid by Paris Saint-Germain himself when he signed Neymar, from Barcelona, for 222 million euros (1.16 billion Brazilian reals). Negotiations must be concluded in the next few days and Mbappe must join other stars in Saudi football.
After PSG’s release, Al-Hilal has now obtained permission from the French club to speak to Mbappe and outline a deal. Still based on information from the British press, there is already the beginning of a conversation between the two parties regarding the definition.
Despite a year left on his PSG contract, Mbappe entered a lawsuit with the club and, according to the French press, forced Mbappe to leave. The striker even stayed away from the club’s pre-season, which will take place in Japan. Mbappe participated in some friendly matches when Paris Saint-Germain was in France, but he missed the period when the club had commercial goals to meet in the Asian continent.
Mbappe has always made it clear his desire to move to Real Madrid, who almost guaranteed the player at the start of last season. However, Paris Saint-Germain made an important renewal of the athlete in that period and removed the Spanish interest. The Merengue club is still interested in owning the striker, but he was waiting for the end of his relationship with the French club to make an offer.
With the possible deal with Al-Hilal, Mbappe’s dream of defending Real Madrid may become more distant, because the striker will sign a bond greater than the one he currently has with Paris Saint-Germain. At the moment, largely due to the interest of the striker, Mbappe is far from the plans of coach Luis Enrique. After losing Messi, who hit Inter Miami from the United States, the French club has to look for a new attacking option.
