The long-awaited Update 2.0 for Cyberpunk 2077 is coming and many must be eager to test out the new features. However, here’s a tip from CD Projekt RED themselves: start a campaign from scratch to make the most of the gameplay changes.
The studio put out a post on Twitter and explained that while everyone will be able to continue the game normally with already created characters, the experience will be more rewarding if they start V’s story from the beginning. This way, they get used to each mechanic added to the gameplay:

Hey chums! While you can continue the game with your current character on an existing save, we recommend starting a new game after Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.0. Due to the number of changes, starting from scratch will improve your overall gameplay experience!
The update will be released on Thursday (21) and will bring great new features to the RPG, such as improved vehicular combat, a police system, and much more. It should be noted that the patch is free and will only be released on current generation platforms (PS5, Xbox Series, and PC).
