PF opens investigation into Bolsonaro’s false link between AIDS vaccine and Covid

BRASILIA, DF (Volsapress) – The Federal Police has opened an investigation to investigate the conduct of President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) on suspicion of an epidemic crime, a violation of preventive health measures and incitement to commit a crime.

Dated February 23, the decree opening the investigation on Wednesday (2) was sent to Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Federal Supreme Court (STF).

The case concerns the neighborhood that Bolsonaro executed on October 21 last year, when the president read an alleged news story that warned that “vaccination” [contra a Covid] Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome develops [Aids]”.

However, doctors and scientists claim that the relationship between the immunizing agent against the coronavirus and the transmission of the human immunodeficiency virus, the AIDS virus, is wrong and does not exist. In their opinion, the link is absurd.

The investigation by the Federal Police will be conducted by Delegate Lorena Lima Nascimento, who is coordinating investigations at the High Courts of Police.

At the request of Senator Alessandro Vieira (Cidadania-SE), a Covid CPI member, Moraes has already scheduled a Supreme Court investigation.

In December, the Minister ordered that the case file be referred to the Palestinian Police for “the regular continuation of investigations, with analysis of the initial steps to be taken to clarify the facts investigated.”

Now, with the publication of the decree by the delegate, the police investigation is being formalized.

In the same live episode last year, the president said, citing a purported study attributed to Anthony Fauci, an American immunologist, that: “Most victims of the Spanish flu did not die from the Spanish flu. […] But from bacterial pneumonia caused by wearing a mask.”

“In both assertions, the head of the Federal Executive would have issued incorrect texts, which would be part of a broader context of successive and recurring criminal demonstrations, would disseminate notorious fake news, and create significant obstacles in the response to the epidemic,” as described in Application No. 01586/2021. , as stated in the decree of PF.

At the time of Bolsonaro’s statement, the Public Prosecutor’s Office (PGR) had opened a preliminary investigation, but due to Augusto Arras’ delays in following up on the case, Moraes opened an investigation.

Police investigations were launched, according to the delegate, “for the purpose of investigating the behavior of the President of the Republic by publishing supposedly incorrect news on social networks, which theoretically constitute epidemic crimes, violating the preventive health care measure and incitement to crime.”

Among the initial steps, the delegate offered to transcribe the entire content of the neighborhood that Bolsonaro made in October 2021 and to identify locations that served as the basis for the information copied by the resident to ascertain whether these addresses were known to convey true or misleading information.

It also includes holding meetings with the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare in the United Kingdom, with the aim of responding to whether the aforementioned country has disclosed information that “full vaccination […] They develop AIDS much faster than expected.”

In addition, efforts have been made with the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases in the United States to see if there has been any publication, notably by immunologist Anthony Fauci, “concluding that most deaths from the Spanish flu were due to secondary bacterial pneumonia, and that The multiplication of these bacteria is associated with the use of masks.”

The PF also asked Moraes to share the records of the preliminary investigation opened by the Attorney General of the Republic, as well as the records of the investigation investigating Bolsonaro about the leak of classified information regarding the hacker attack on electoral justice.

The fake news the president is referring to has been published on at least two websites, Stylo Urbano and Coletivade Evolutiva. The texts erroneously suggest that people lose the ability of the immune system during the weeks following completion of the vaccination, and thus “will actually have acquired immunodeficiency syndrome.” [Aids] advanced”.

The pages claim to be based on data provided by the British government. However, the UK Department of Public Health’s official portal report to which the portals refer does not mention AIDS at any time.

In addition, the gatekeepers Stylo Urbano and Coletividade Evolutiva topped the British department’s schedule analyzing Covid-19 cases between vaccinated and unvaccinated people. Both enter a column that does not appear in the official document called “strengthening or deteriorating the immune system”.
