Working from home has become the norm for millions of people after the COVID-19 pandemic. But experts warn of the implications of that Distance working can be on Physical and mental health. Furniture At Work, one of the UK’s largest office furniture companies, has shown how the number of remote workers can reach 2,100.
The model, nicknamed Anna, has a hunched back, bulging eyes, and clawed hands. “Anna exhibits many physical effects due to constant use of technology, exposure to screens and poor posture, as well as potential mental health issues,” the company said.

The team created Ana based on research from the University of Leeds in England, which found that a third of remote workers in the UK do not have enough workspace at home.
“To visualize the effects of not having a convenient place to work from home, Furniture At Work has used scientific research and worked with health experts to reveal what the remote worker of the future will look like,” the company explained. It will be Anna’s age.
Health experts urge home workers to take steps to stay healthy while working from home. Long hours with your hand wrapped around a mouse has caused your fingers to wrinkle into perpetual claws.
She also fell victim to weight gain, a weakened immune system due to the lack of fresh air, and the potential for anxiety and depression.

Brian Clark, founder of United Medical Education, said in an interview with daily Mail. “Creating a workspace with comfortable furniture is also important for setting clear boundaries between work and personal time,” he added.
The 20-20-20 rule
Sarah Gibson, MD, director of Proactive Healthcare, recommends following the “20-20-20” rule.
“Following the 20-20-20 rule is a great way to take care of your eyes if you spend long periods of time looking at screens. Look away from the screen every 20 minutes for 20 seconds and focus on something 20 feet away,” he teaches.
