Arkane Studios has confirmed the modes that will be featured in Redfall for launch, as early as May 2, where the option to play at 60fps is not included.
As the studio revealed, if you’re going to play Redfall on an Xbox Series console, you’ll only have access to the quality mode, which runs at 30 frames per second. If you’re playing on Xbox Series X, the resolution is at 4K and on Xbox Series S at 1440p.
Performance mode, which will allow you to play Redfall at 60fps on consoles, will be implemented post-launch, on a date to be confirmed.
Redfall is an open world first-person action game that you can play alone or with 3 other players. To face the vampires, you will have the option to choose one of 4 heroes and use different skills.
Although single player is possible, you will need a permanent internet connection. It is also confirmed that the PC version includes DRM Denuvo.
