After not receiving “even a phone call” to participate in Criança Esperança, from Globo, Renato Aragão was invited to a private meeting on Record alongside his colleague from Os Trapalhes, Dedé Santana. On this occasion, he took the opportunity to pay tribute and thanks to the station where he had spent most of his career, where he was reportedly injured by the competitor.

On the 70th anniversary of Radio Eder Macedo, Domingo Espetacular prepared the Uma História Espetacular tribute scheme. Recorded at the 88-year-old comedian’s mansion in Rio de Janeiro, reporter Michael Keeler recalled with the duo the beginning of their careers at the station when the two participated in Os Insociáveis, a humorous show launched in 1971 that became the embryo of Os Trapalhões .

Renato Aragão (Didi Moco), Manfred Santana (Didi Santana), Carlos Musume and also Roberto Guilherme, who is immortalized in the series as the character Sargento Pencil, make up the Gravity Team. Os Insociáveis was on the air for three years, until 1974. It was only then that Aragão and Santana began working as Os Trapalhões. As was the Quartet Zakaria.

Now Renato Aragua can prepare for another big blow. Mussum, Filmis, a biography of the comedian who succeeded with Os Trapalhões, paints Didi’s interpreter as a selfish man who values money more than friendship with the other three actors.

In addition, the film that was to mark his retirement and which Ancine had released to raise more than R$6 million in resources was cancelled.
