Top Employers Company Announced The UK’s Best Employers in 2023Certified for its best HR policies and people practices

Among the 2023 entrants, 17 companies were certified for the first time, including Baxter Healthcare UK, Higher Europe UK & Ireland, Anglo American and Ingredient UK. Other top employers certified for the first time this year include Verisure, Sulzer, BD, Vistry Group, QIAGEN, Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, Apollo Tires UK, BMW Financial Services, ofi, Viatris UK, RHP Group, DHL Cross-Border. and Airbus UK.

Many of the companies certified as Best Employers in previous years have had sustained outstanding performance, including Bentley Motors, HCLTech, Molson Coors Beverage Company, QVC, Santander, Travis Perkins, Virtusa, Weightmans LLP and Whitbread. Certified employer annually for over a decade.

Our recent research among these employers shows that improving the “employee experience” will be their number one HR priority in 2023. These are the companies others should watch: Those that excel at providing a great experience for employees day in and day out.

Certification process

To earn Best Employer certification, participating companies are evaluated by the Best Employers Institute through a rigorous review of their people practices. The HR Best Practices Survey covers six HR domains covering 20 topics across the business and workforce lifecycle, including people strategy, work environment, talent acquisition, learning, wellness and diversity and inclusion. Information is independently verified and audited to ensure process and data integrity.

This year, 2,053 Best Employers in 121 countries and territories across five continents have certified the company. To qualify for participation, companies must have at least 250 national or 2,500 international employees, as well as advanced and formalized HR practices.
