RIO – On Sunday, the city of Rio registered 24 patients with COVID-19 in the capital’s SUS network beds. There are 20 ICU’s and 4 from the ward, one of them is for children. Busy beds are in hospitals run by the state and the federal government. In city council units, there are no patients with COVID-19. Data are from the Rio Municipal Health Administration’s Hospital Census (SMS).

Most occupied beds fall into the federal grid (17). It is distributed as follows:

– INI Fiocruz: 8 occupied beds and 3 occupied infirmary

– University Hospital Clementino Fraga Velo (UFRJ): 4 occupied beds

Federal Hospital for State Employees: 1 ICU bed occupied

– Martagão Gesteira Pediatric Institute (UFRJ): one bed in the pediatric ward is occupied

In the state network, there are 7 covid ICU beds occupied at Pedro Ernesto University Hospital (Uerj).

The massive vaccination campaign continues on Monday
