Their forces accuse the leaders of the Russian army of killing the wounded Russian soldiers instead of providing them with proper treatment. This British composite information was published by the Daily Mail on Monday (16).
According to the text, fighters captured by Ukrainian forces said that a commander asked a wounded soldier if he could walk, and after the man replied that he could not, the officer executed him. The report was photographed by Ukrainian journalist Volodymyr Zulkin.
The soldiers claimed that the lieutenant colonel shot “four or five” other soldiers, who were also wounded. One of the Russians said, “They could have been rescued, helped and taken out. But they were just killed.”
There is no information about the region of Ukraine in which soldiers were executed by their commander. The publication also does not mention the whereabouts of the families of the soldiers who submitted the reports and the unit in which they worked.
According to Russian government spokesman Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin has no information about the bodies of Russian soldiers or wounded fighters in Ukraine.
