Spotify’s new feature makes users happy

On Wednesday, February 22, for Spotify Premium users in the US and Canada, a new Spotify feature was launched. According to the company itself, it is a dedicated AI guide that seeks to know the user and their musical taste to the point where they can choose what to play.

The feature was first launched in beta and works to bring you a curated selection of songs along with comments on tracks and artists that the DJ thinks you’ll like.

How does the new Spotify feature work?

The DJ bot will sort through recent songs and remind you of some old favourites, ones you haven’t listened to in a while. Then, it will analyze what you might like and provide you with a music stream tailored to you based on your tastes. In other words, a personalized playlist.

Based on your feedback, the song schedule will be updated. The more you listen and give your opinion, the better your recommendations will be. You can tell the DJ what you like and don’t like.

In addition, a dynamic AÍ sound platform from Sonantic, a startup acquired by Spotify, has been added. Realistic AI audio will bring you many facts about the songs, genres and artists you are listening to.

What are the expectations for arriving in Brazil?

The feature is not available in Brazil. Only Spotify Premium users in the US and Canada can use it in the trial version. If you follow the same logic, it is very likely that subscribers will only be able to use it when it arrives in our country. As of now, we don’t have an estimated arrival date.
