The State Government of Paraíba, through the Secretary of State for Education, Science and Technology (SEECT), will promote the first boarding of approved exchange students in the World Link Program this Friday (13) and Saturday (14). 83 students approved in First Chance International and Apprenticeship Public Notices will travel to the United Kingdom and Spain. Trips last six to eight weeks, depending on the type of exchange the student chooses. Thirty students will go to the Universidad de Mondragón in Spain; 20 will go to Bournemouth and Poole College in England; 4 will go to Edinburgh College in Scotland; 14 will go to Neath Port Talbot College in Wales; Another 15 will go to Warwickshire College in England.
During the selected student’s stay in the first opportunity and professional training systems, educational activities of a professional nature will be carried out with native students, in the official language of the country, through contact with learning experiences in educational institutions and international organizations. destination , and their classes may or may not include participants from other nationalities.
Another 218 students selected in the language course abroad and high school categories will travel to Spain, the United Kingdom and Chile in the coming months. Also, another 100 students will go to Canada. In total, 400 students who applied with 14 Regional Education Managements (GREs) were selected as the best performers in the selection process.
Phases of the project – The first phase of the program was carried out between January and March this year, with the participation of 3,744 students who learned English and Spanish to qualify for the second phase, from April to May 2022, direct examination and application knowledge test, in June. Of the 1,714 students who qualified for the second phase, 400 were approved for the third and final phase to enjoy international exchange.
