Takaca, a delicacy from Bara cuisine, has made it to the list of the best soups in the world, according to TasteAtlas. The culinary platform recently announced that São Paulo couscous received the lowest rating among foods, while catuaba was voted the worst Brazilian drink.
On the list of the top 100 soups, Takaca is the best Brazilian representative, coming in at 25th place. The broth is made from cassava gum, shrimp and tucupi and seasoned with garlic, salt and pepper.
