Singer Taylor Swift used her London tour to meet family members and victims of a knife attack in Southport, United Kingdom. The information was shared by Variety on Monday (19/8).

The brutal attack happened in late July when an assailant entered an artist-focused yoga and dance workshop for girls aged 6 to 11. On that occasion, the perpetrator stabbed eight children and two adults, six of whom were listed in critical condition. At least three girls did not survive their injuries. The case sparked a wave of protests in the United Kingdom, with gangs of extremists blaming immigrants and ravaging the country. The suspect arrested in the act was born in England but of Rwandan descent.

On TikTok, Sammy Foster, the mother of the two victims, shared some photos taken backstage at a concert in England where Taylor Swift appeared with her daughters Hope and Autumn. The meeting took place at Wembley Stadium, where the artist is finishing his concerts in Europe.

“A huge thank you to Taylor Swift and her mom for making the most magical night possible for all of us. Thank you for bringing hope last night and always and pure joy to Autumn,” Sami wrote. Apart from them, other family members of the girls also appeared in the records.

The singer has not publicly commented on the meetings, nor has she revealed how many families she hosted during her time in London. The release highlights that Sammy Foster's relatives aren't the only ones behind the scenes.
