Taylor Swift spent five weeks at the top of the UK Singles Chart with “Anti-Hero”.
For the fifth week in a row, Taylor Swift topped the UK Singles Chart with “Anti-Hero”, making it the third biggest UK single of the year – still behind “We Don’t Talk About Bruno”. Encanto (seven weeks) and “As It Was”, from Harry Styles (10).

As the end of the year approaches, the pace of releases slows down and Christmas carols, little by little, begin to appear in the charts. The chart, released today, features three new releases in the top 40, including Clavish’s “Rocket Science (feat. T-Block Europe),” at number nine. “Escapism (feat. 070 Shake)” is Ray’s at #31 and Meekz’s “Fresh Out The Bank (feat. Dave)” is at #35.

To finish, we had three “festival” returns to the parade. Wham’s “Last Christmas” is already at No. 23, and Ed Sheeran’s “Merry Christmas (with Elton John)” is at No. 40. Above Two is the unofficial anthem of the England national football team. Frank Skinner was 20th with Lightning Seeds’ “Three Lions” along with David Badiel.
