On Sunday (10), the organizers of the Al-Madina Festival announced the next edition of the festival, which is scheduled to be held in 2025.
According to the event’s vice president, Roberta Medina, the current edition generated more than R$1.7 billion in São Paulo and influenced millions of people, both in person and via television and social media.
]Mayor Ricardo Nunes (MDB) reported that the five-day event created about 20,000 temporary jobs in the city.
According to organizers, at least 500,000 people participated in the shows held this year at the Autodromo de Interlagos, in the southern region of the capital, São Paulo.
Of this total, at least 237,000 used the train or metro to get to the event, while 210,000 used the so-called “The Town Express”.
The city’s programming has reached more than 80 million people on television, generating more than 22 million conversations about the shows on social media.
At this event, Roberto Medina, CEO of… Rock in Rio RiR also announced the dates for holding the festival in Rio de Janeiro in 2024.
The event is scheduled to take place in the capital, Rio de Janeiro, between September 13 and 22.
In the same year, RiR is also scheduled to be held in Lisbon, Portugal. According to Medina, the Portuguese capital is supposed to host the event before Rio, starting on June 15.
