The future first lady, Rosingela da Silva, Ganja, who is in charge of the preparations for the inauguration ceremony of President-elect Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (PT) on January 1, said on Wednesday (12/7) that so far, 11 heads of state have confirmed their attendance at the inauguration ceremony Lola. The announcement was made during a press conference at the Banco do Brasil Cultural Center (CCBB), with Ambassador Fernando Luis Lemos Egreja and Marcio Tavares, also a member of the Cultural Transition Group.
According to Egreja, on Monday (5), invitations were sent, via Itamaraty, to all countries that have diplomatic relations with Brazil. Among them are the heads of state such as Germany, Angola, Argentina, Bolivia, Cape Verde, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Guinea-Bissau, Portugal and East Timor, as well as the King of Spain.

Ganga noted that there is a huge demand for accreditation from the international press and record expectations for heads of state to attend. “This is perhaps the largest attendance of heads of state so far in our democratic period.”
Sociologist has already announced that the date will see more than 20 concerts by artists who accompanied Lula during the campaign, such as Pabllo Vittar, BaianaSystem, Duda Beat, Gaby Amarantos, Martinho da Vila, Os Gilsons, Chico Csar, Luedji Luna, Tereza Cristina, Fernanda Takay, Johnny Hooker, Odair José, Almerio, Maria Rita, Paulinho da Viola, Margaret Menezes; and gospel singers Clipper Lucas and Leonardo Gonalves. Performances will begin at 6:30 pm after the official ceremony.
