Yulia Tarasevich is 43 years old and was the runner-up in the 2019 Mrs Russia-International beauty contest, but her life changed after she decided to undergo a plastic surgery. The mini-liposuction, face-lift and eyelid correction known as blepharoplasty made Yulia unable to smile or close her eyes. “I just wanted to correct some of the nuances that aging causes. I unfortunately lost my health,” she told the Daily Mail. “My eyes don’t close and I can’t smile. I can’t lift my upper lip and part of my face isn’t working.”
It even paid about 115,000 R$ to fix the errors, but the new procedures didn’t give much results. Yulia even filed a criminal complaint against two doctors who participated in the first surgery, but they claimed that the failure of the interventions was only due to a rare genetic defect in the patient.
“I calmly went to the operation in the first place, because all my exams were in order. Secondly, since I had plastic surgery before that, I had a rhinoplasty and everything worked out for me, without any genetic abnormalities. The doctors who disfigured my face got rid of all responsibility ” .
