The new car also offers 668 liters of trunk space, which is more spacious than the Audi Q4 E-tron and Ford Mustang Mach-E. With the 40/20/40 folding rear seats folded down, storage space is increased to 1,430 litres.
As standard, the EL6 has the same all-wheel drive system as the ET5 Touring, with a 201 hp front engine and a 282 hp rear engine. Total power is 482bhp (47bhp more than the ES6) and torque is 516lb ft, with a 0-62mph time of 4.5 seconds.
The EL6 has continuous damping control to ensure a stable ride and, like the ET5, will be offered in China with a higher level of self-driving hardware.
Drivers can choose from nine driving modes, and the Neo’s self-adjusting brake system, Intelligent Smooth Stop (ISS), debuts in this model.
The EL6 will be offered in 10 body colors and four interior themes, including two custom shades, Galaxy Shadow for the exterior and Warm Gravel for the interior.
The EL6 continues to use the Neo’s 70kWh battery, giving it an official range of over 300 miles. It’s compatible with Neo’s battery change stations, which remove an empty battery and insert a fully charged one within five minutes.
