In two official posts on his official Twitter with UK Culture Minister Oliver Dowd he greeted the British talent presented at the Oscars 2021.
“Sir Anthony Hopkins and Daniel Calois – two wonderful British actors who made Britain proud. Many congratulations on their success and thank you for sharing your extraordinary talents with the world,” he wrote in the first post, praising Hopkins’ success, and best actor for “My Father” and “Judas and. Kaluya won Best Supporting Actor for “The Black Messiah”.
Dawden praised Emerald Fennel for the best original screenplay for the film “Beautiful Revenge”. “It’s great to see the British talent recognized behind the camera for the Oscars,” he added. “Congratulations to Emerald Fennel for winning the best original screenplay – a truly promising young lady,” she added, referring to the original title of the English language film, “The Promising Young Woman”.
