On Saturday (20), the US House of Representatives approved, with broad bipartisan support, a legislative package from 95 billion US dollars (or approximately 500 billion Brazilian reals) Providing security assistance to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan.
The legislation now heads to the US Senate. Democratic majority, where the first vote can be taken Next Tuesday (23).
A group of dozens of Democratic lawmakers waved small Ukrainian flags as it became clear that this element of the package was on its way to approval.
The package of bills also includes money for Israel, security aid for Taiwan's allies, and a measure that includes sanctions and threats to ban the Chinese-owned TikTok app.

On Saturday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky thanked the US House of Representatives for approving the aid project for his country.
