Rio – Thiago Abravanel, Silvio Santos' grandson, spoke once again about the health of his grandfather, who has been hospitalized since August 1. During the signing session for Brita Gil's new book, on Wednesday night (14), the singer mentioned that the 93-year-old presenter is going through a delicate moment and asked fans to have faith and hope in Silvio's recovery.

“He is fine, he is being treated in this delicate moment, but thank God, he has been well taken care of by everyone, the whole hospital team, the whole family,” Thiago began columnist Lucas Bassin, from UOL, in a video he posted on Instagram.

“I think it's important for all people to come together, also through faith. It's an injection of life. Faith brings a lot of hope. We have to hope that he recovers soon,” concluded Thiago Abravanel.

Silvio Santos was admitted to the hospital again on the afternoon of August 1 for further tests. The 93-year-old broadcaster had recently been discharged from the hospital due to H1N1.
On Saturday (3), SBT denied rumors that the presenter was in critical condition. “SBT informs that, contrary to what is being speculated in the press, the caller Silvio Santos is not in a critical health condition. Silvio Santos remains in the hospital only to receive the necessary medical care, and is receiving treatment for his immediate recovery,” the note reads.
