Travelers from Brazil and the UK are exempt from the isolation period

Govt-19 was used by the government for aviation as part of measures to combat the epidemic Determined Passengers on flights starting in Brazil and the United Kingdom will not be subject to immunization isolation prior to arrival in Portugal.

Essential trips, in particular, should allow citizens to change or enter Portugal for professional, study, family reunion reasons, health reasons or humanitarian reasons.

All citizens who wish to travel to Portugal by air, except for children under 12 years of age, must provide proof of having undergone EU Covit Digital Certification or, alternatively, RT-PCR molecular laboratory test or rapid testing of antigen with negative. As a result, shipments are made within 72 or 48 hours, respectively.

Only rapid antigen testing is allowed on the general list for the detection of COVID-19 disease approved by the EU Health Protection Committee, and the certificate must indicate the citizen’s identity, type and name of the test, manufacturer, date, time and place (including country) of collection, test results, and issue Authority and Authorization No.

Passengers who do not comply with the tests or evidence required by the above requirements shall be subjected to a new test at their own expense upon entering the airport, at a suitable location, until the results are announced.

When departing, it is important to remember that airlines must allow passengers to travel to or from the mainland of Portugal during the EU Govt digital certification or negative test result. 500 to 2,000 euros per passenger.

Approved activities apply equally to the boarding and disembarkation of passengers and passengers at ports located on the mainland.

These measures are in effect between 23:59 on September 1, 0021 and September 16, 2021, and may be modified at any time depending on the evolution of the epidemiological situation.
