In August 2021 a UK court convicted a 25-year-old woman of strangling her 53-year-old husband with electric wires. The culprit, Charlotte Doston, was arrested Tuesday (24).
The crime took place in August 2021. The woman took a photo of her husband being immobilized by electric wires and sent it to another man she was flirting with.
Doston met the other a week ago. Upon receiving the picture, he said: “I hope you will not do this to me”.
To which she replied, “I will never build you.”
Her husband Mohammad Mukhtar was hanged.
According to Manchester City Police, Doston was abusive and abusive to her husband.
She pleaded guilty and, when confessed, described her husband as a kind and vulnerable man.
Her husband was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency services. One analysis found that he also had liver damage that could be caused by kicking.
According to the attorney’s office, the relationship lasted four years, and Dutson attacked her husband with weapons such as knives and electric wires.
She was arrested three times, but her husband refused to support the case.
The woman’s lawyer says she has mental health issues related to the trauma she experienced when she was young.
The court sentenced her to life imprisonment (she could have her sentence reduced, but she should have served at least 22 and a half years).
