In the Sumy region, one person was killed and five others were injured in Russian bombings in the capital of the same name and in the city of Bilobelia, damaging administrative and residential buildings, according to police.
In the east of the country, a 77-year-old woman was killed and three people were injured by artillery fire, according to Vadim Velashkin, head of the Donetsk region.
Also in the Poltava region in central Ukraine, one person was killed and five others were injured, including three children, after the attacks caused a fire and the collapse of the roof of a building, as announced by state governor Philip Pronin.
Ukraine also claimed responsibility for an attack on Sunday (7) against the Russian missile ship Serpukhov, which was set on fire in the Russian enclave of Kaliningrad.
According to the Ukrainian Military Intelligence Service (GUR), the ship was seriously damaged.
According to reports, Serpukhov was at the Russian naval base in the city of Baltigsk. According to the Military Intelligence Service, the fire “completely destroyed the ship's means of communication and automation.”
