UN urges Spain and UK to resolve Gibraltar issue

The The Magna Assembly of the United Nations (UN) approved a set of resolutions on decolonization dealt with annually by its Fourth Commission.

Spain and the United Kingdom disagree on representation when it comes to speaking on behalf of Gibraltar: Madrid prefers direct talks with the United Kingdom, while London prefers to leave these discussions in the hands of the Gibraltarians.
