According to Felipe, who was present at the opening ceremony, Lady Gaga's images were recorded. A video clip was posted showing the performance on one of the large screens spread along the banks of the Seine, while the place where the singer was performing in the video was only filled with a few dancers.
“It was frustrating, the stage was all set up and the band arrived at the beginning of the event. People were looking for them, confused, because the place is the same as in the rehearsal photos. Yes, he made a mistake, and no one had any idea. People were confused,” Felipe told Quem.
This information was also repeated by a reporter for the Associated Press. According to UOL, a reporter from the agency saw Lady Gaga warming up and practicing three hours before the opening ceremony and leaving after the performance.
