Unimed Teresina moms enjoy life stories |  SOS Unimed

Collaborators Jordania Viana, Dietitian at UNIMED Ilhotas; Luciani Braga, social worker at the Unimed Primavera Hospital; Rosangela Valadao, a nurse auditor at Unimed Teresina Operator and Marlian Anchita do Nascimento, service assistant at Inter Med Clinic, spoke about the challenges involved in being a mother. The four share unconditional love for their children and stories of perseverance, overcoming, devotion and asceticism.

Jordan Viana always knew she was going to be a mother. Even after repeated miscarriages, she never gave up on her dream. Today, she has two children: Joao Gabriel and Jose Pedro. At birth, the youngest, Joao Gabriel, developed complications and was kept in the intensive care unit for a month. Today he is a beautiful, strong and healthy baby.

“I have no words to describe this morning of strong feelings that remind of this journey to fulfill my dream.”

Luciani Braga is also the mother of two daughters (Natalia and Barbara), and she has dropped everything to take care of one of them, who was diagnosed with lupus and had to be hospitalized for months fighting for her life and awaiting a transplant.

“It was tough times, but we went through them together and today we can celebrate this very special date.”

Nurse Rosângela Valadão couldn’t get pregnant, but her dream of being a mother came true through adoption.

I did not have children, but God allowed me to be a mother in another way. I give love, affection and care every day. Today I am happy and satisfied as the mother of Jasmine Valladao.”

Marlene Anchetta has always been very attached to her two daughters, Anna Alice and Anna Beatriz, especially the younger one. Therefore, when he had to leave home for work, he was afraid to distance himself from his daughters. A year ago, she separated from her husband, and, thinking about the comfort and safety of her daughters, she preferred to leave them with her ex-husband.

“All the decisions I make in my life I think of the best for my daughters. For them, I am capable of anything,” he declared.
