United's Boeing 737 pilots and pilots discovered they were missing part of the plane

Another United plane had issues with missing components, now a Boeing 737 that the pilots didn't realize was missing until after landing.

This time, the part loss occurred on flight UA433 from San Francisco, California, to Medford, in southern Washington state, the same flight on which United's 737-800, registration N26226, was built 25 years earlier.

After landing, which took place without any problems, the pilots noticed the disappearance of the panel at the bottom of the plane's fuselage, near the landing gear. The component came off partially leaving a part still stuck and badly damaged.
