The United States and the United Kingdom have launched strikes against several Houthi targets in Yemen. According to US officials, they used Tomahawk missiles from naval bases and jets to destroy Houthi warehouses and missile launchers.
This is the second joint strike by the two allies against Houthi targets.
According to reports from Al Arabiya and Al Jazeera, US and UK forces attacked the Al-Deilami Houthi military base in Sana'a and other installations in Taiz, Hajjah, Al Hudaydah and Al Bayda governorates.
A Houthi representative, who did not want to be named, told Al Jazeera that the attacks were the most intense since the US and UK launched their first strikes in Yemen on January 12.
According to Al Hadath, allies have launched at least 35 strikes against Houthi targets. Al Hadath sources said three high-ranking Houthi officials were killed in the attack.
Following the escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict in the Gaza Strip, the Houthis have warned of an attack on Israeli territory, while banning ships linked to Israel from passing through the Red Sea and the Bab el-Mantab Strait. .
