Max Verstappen wrapped up his great goal last weekend: to win his second 2022 Formula 1 championship. The race was a real mess due to the rain and had an awkward finish – even for the #1 – but the title was confirmed for Team Red Bull driver.
With this achievement, two Verstappen titles put the Netherlands in the top ten. Now, they are tied with Spain (which counts Fernando Alonso’s championships) and the United States (with Phil Hill and Mario Andretti’s titles).
