A drone reaches the summit of Mount Everest

DJI said that with a successful delivery, the drones could provide relief to workers who frequently risk their lives navigating Mount Everest's Khumbu Icefall to deliver supplies.

“The ability to safely transport equipment, supplies and waste by drone has the potential to revolutionize the logistics of climbing Mount Everest, facilitating litter clean-up efforts and improving safety for all participants,” said DJI Director Christina Zhang.
