A drone reaches the summit of Mount Everest
Mount Everest, the highest in the world, is often the place where many records are set. This week, another hit: The first delivery made by drone on the mountain.

DJI said that with a successful delivery, the drones could provide relief to workers who frequently risk their lives navigating Mount Everest's Khumbu Icefall to deliver supplies.
“The ability to safely transport equipment, supplies and waste by drone has the potential to revolutionize the logistics of climbing Mount Everest, facilitating litter clean-up efforts and improving safety for all participants,” said DJI Director Christina Zhang.
