Wood joins the UK ‘green list’ today

The decision by the British government to add some Caribbean countries to the ‘green list’, including the island of Madeira, the Balearic Islands and Barbados, was announced last week. This list currently puts 11 countries and territories at low risk for Govt-19 events.

Portugal was the only EU country to join the group on May 17, but was downgraded to a moderate-danger yellow on June 6 within three weeks.

This list, which is located in most European countries, is subject to strict restrictions, i.e. 10 days of isolation for the UK and two PCR tests on the second and eighth days.

However, since Monday, the United Kingdom has been added to the list of citizens’ countries to be isolated for 14 days after entering Portugal’s mainland, according to a decision by the Portuguese government. However, UK travelers may be exempted from imprisonment “if they are provided with evidence of vaccination in that country, it attests to the vaccination schedule [contra a covid-19] Holder, for at least 14 days “.
