The 29th edition of the Interdistrital de Esportes was launched in Porto Velho. The tournament is the most awaited sporting meeting between the neighborhoods of the capital, and two years after the outbreak of the epidemic, activities resumed on Friday (27), in the Extrema region, in Ponta do Abona.

“It is with great satisfaction that the Municipal Sports and Recreation Department (SIMES) officially opens the 29th Indoor District Tournament here in Extrema,” Simes Secretary Yvonnet Gomez said at the opening ceremony, thanking the athletes and the local communities for attending. .. and the support that the Somira family provided for this event.

According to military police estimates, about 1,500 people attended the event at Somerão Stadium, watching the match between Extrema and Kaxarari, as well as performances of rhythmic gymnastics, capoeira, break dancing, a fireworks display synchronized with the national anthem and. Musical show with singers Gabri and Patricia Moraes.

The opening of the tournament was attended by the President of Agriculture, Livestock and Municipal Supply (Semagric) Gustavo Serpino and the Technical Director of the Urban Development Company (Emdur) Eduardo Perez. Counselors Gurander Bengala and Marcio Bassil also participated in the event.

Before the ball was rolled, player Celso of Kaxarari team spoke about the preparations for the tournament. “We expected to play a good game, we are already two-time champions and hope to win again, especially after this pandemic period in which we have had a lot of time to prepare and do a good job, while respecting all the other teams that will also be on the field.”

Despite the violent dispute between the two teams, the opening match ended with three goals for Extrema team and one goal for Kxarari team.

In the stands, there was no shortage of support for the local teams. “I came with my wife and son to watch the opening matches and I thought it was really cool to have the opening in Xtrema, two teams from here are facing each other and it is very difficult to support just one. I hope the best wins,” celebrated fan Ed Carlos, 44.

The first phase of the 29th Inner Circle in Extrema will run until the 1st of June.

Seven men’s teams and four women’s teams from the communities of Extrema, Gassi Parana, Caxarari, Nova California, Nova Motom and Vista Alegre do Abona make up the Ponta de Abona teams that will play volleyball and soccer matches with an eye on the next stage that will take place June 17-22, in the Calama region.

In Lower Madeira, all matches will be football with a male Konya; Mention; São Carlos male and female; Calama, male and female; Macy’s St. Sebastian, male; Nazareth male and female new alliance.

The final stage will be in Porto Velho on July 8 and 9.
