Luciana Cardoso, wife of Fausto Silva, known as Fausto, used her social networks, last Wednesday, 2, to congratulate her lover, who turned 74 years old.

In the tribute, she recalled a series of special moments she lived with her husband, and celebrated the broadcaster’s second chance, after he recently underwent two organ transplant operations.

“Another year…and what a year it has been. Nothing has been so easy lately, but gratitude for my ability to open a new cycle and remain steadfast in the goal of staying well overcomes any obstacle. I'm sure as I begin the new year that begins today, “You will have the health and joy you deserve again.”

Luciana continued to remind the presenter that he can always count on his family's support. “We will always be here to give you support, support and love. There is nothing more fair than being able to return the kindness and happiness you have always given our family and so many other people in this world. Happy birthday and let's live!”, he wrote.


Finally, Faustau's wife thanked the two families who allowed the organ donation. “Eternal gratitude to the two donor families who allowed you to continue to be here with your family today.”

Due to health problems, Faustau had to undergo two organ transplants last year. In August 2023, he had a heart transplant, and after a few weeks of recovery, he was released from the hospital.

In February this year, the broadcaster developed a worsening of his kidney disease and underwent a kidney transplant. This time, recovery was a little slower and Faustau needed to undergo an embolization. The artist even rejected the organ, but after further treatment, the situation was reversed.

João Guilherme Silva, Faustão's son, also took advantage of his father's birthday to update on his health. During an interview with the portal Leo Diasleader Joao program He revealed that his father's recovery is not easy: “He is in the recovery stage. It is difficult, difficult, but the important thing is that he is a very resilient person.”

Despite the difficulties, Joao stressed that his father deals with everything with great ease and joy. “He's happy to get things done. So anyone who follows him knows how flexible he is and that's what matters in this whole process.”
